KAPIT: Four medical officers from Kapit Hospital have secured places in postgraduate specialist training programmes at local universities.
The hospital said the achievement demonstrated that geographical distance and logistical challenges are not barriers to professional excellence and academic success.
Among those accepted into specialist training programmes is Dr Selywn Chin Wai Zhe, who will pursue a Master of Internal Medicine programme at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Dr Chua Wen Yong has been accepted into the Master of Anaesthesiology programme at the International Islamic University Malaysia.

“The success of these doctors is clear evidence that Hospital Kapit’s ecosystem continues to support, motivate and produce quality human capital for the future of the nation’s healthcare system,” it said in a Facebook post.
