KUANTAN: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, have concluded their official visit to Pahang.
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah departed from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport today (Sept 8) after attending the closing ceremony of the Pahang Heritage Festival 2025 and a series of official engagements in the state.
They were seen off by wife of the Menteri Besar of Pahang, Datin Seri DiRaja Daro Burhah Mohammad and Pahang Public Works, Transport and Health Committee chairman Datuk Razali Kassim, who also served as the accompanying minister to the Sarawak Head of State.
Earlier, a prayer was recited by Pahang’s Qadhi Syarifuddin Mohammad Sa’ad seeking blessings for their safe journey home.
During the visit, Wan Junaidi and Fauziah conveyed their respects to the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj, while expressing appreciation to the Pahang government and everyone involved for the warm hospitality extended.
They also expressed hope that ties and cooperation between Sarawak and Pahang will continue to be strengthened for the benefit of both states.
