KUCHING: International Iban actor Henry Golding has paid a courtesy call on Deputy President of the Senate Datuk Nur Jazlan Tan Sri Mohamed at the Malaysian House of Parliament yesterday (April 27).
In a Facebook post by Parlimen Malaysia, the actor met Nur Jazlan at his office and discussed several matters, including proposals for community development programmes in rural areas of Sarawak, where Golding’s mother is from
In an effort to promote the “People’s Parliament” initiative, Golding was also given a guided tour of the Senate and the House of Representatives chambers.
During the tour, Golding took some moments to explore the chambers as well as posing for group photos with Parliament staff.
