KUCHING: SJK Chung Hua No. 5 Kuching recently organised an Innovation Day to allow students to showcase their talents and creative ideas through projects and exhibits.
The Innovation Day on Feb 10 witnessed exhibits which paved the way for students to extend their learning skills related to interaction, collaboration and communication.
Moreover, the occasion also created a holistic environment for innovation where ideas were generated, embraced, and implemented.
“On that day, there was an award presentation to the winners of English and Information Communication and Technology (ICT) competitions.
“This activity will motivate them to learn the essential innovative learning skills and competences such as imagination and creativity, as well as critical thinking and problem solving,” the school said in a press statement.
Among those present were school headmistress Chui Mui Ling, officers from the Kuching District Education, and School Improvement Specialist Coaches Plus (SISC+) Faith Wong and Felix Chuo.
