SRI AMAN: Police have arrested two unemployed men for alleged involvement in substance abuse on Tuesday.
Sri Aman police chief DSP Mathew Manggie said that the suspects, aged 30 and 31, were taken into custody at 9.45 am.
“Urine tests were conducted on both suspects and results found both of them tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
“The case is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said in a statement.
Mathew pointed out that the suspects are currently being held at Sri Aman police lock-up for further investigation.
In light of this, he urged the public to channel any information related to drugs activities to the nearest police station.
