SERDANG: Kek Lapis Warisan Sdn Bhd has been named the recipient of the Anugerah Ikon Agribusiness at MAHA 2026.
The award, presented on Sept 6, recognises entrepreneurs demonstrating the best overall performance throughout the exhibition.
The award recognises entrepreneurs who demonstrate outstanding overall performance in business performance, sales, product quality, branding, booth management and commitment throughout MAHA 2026.
Kek Lapis Warisan was selected for the award after competing with 131 entrepreneurs from across Malaysia.
The recognition also marks the company’s first Anugerah Ikon Agribusiness, adding a significant milestone to its journey as a Sarawak-based enterprise.
Managing director Dr Mohamad Hafeezi Abdullah described the achievement as a reward for the entire Kek Lapis Warisan team.
He said the recognition was also a proud moment for Sarawak, with the company having the opportunity to compete alongside entrepreneurs from across the country.
“This award is a gift to the entire Kek Lapis Warisan team. It also brings pride to Sarawak as we competed with 131 other entrepreneurs from across Malaysia.”
The achievement reflects the team’s efforts in presenting its products and brand while demonstrating its business capabilities at the national-level exhibition.
The recognition at MAHA 2026 is expected to further encourage Kek Lapis Warisan to continue strengthening its brand and expanding its presence in the wider market.
