MIRI: The Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) rescued two kittens trapped on the suspended ceiling of a residential house on Monday (Sept 7).
District APM officer Capt (PA) Usman Harto said that the operations centre received a distress call pertaining to the incident around 1pm and four personnel were deployed to the scene.
The caller said that the sounds of kittens meowing could be heard and contacted the APM for assistance.
The team managed to rescue the trapped kittens and brought them down from the suspended ceiling.
The operation ended at 1.32pm.
