MIRI: A total 40 units of solar-powered LED lights are currently being installed along the Krokop street as part of the city council’s effort to brighten up the area.

Installation work on RM300,000 project is expected to be completes on April 15 this year, said Mayor Adam Yii, adding that work commenced on Jan 15.

“The project augurs with our strategy to beautifying Miri City,” he said during a site visit to Krokop to inspect installation works along the area.

He reminded motorists plying the area to be more cautious as the works are in progress.
