KUCHING: The Kuching Water Board (KWB) has aborted planned repair works to fix a major leak on a pumping main pipe along Jalan Highfield Light Industrial–Jalan Batu Kawa due to unforeseen technical complications.
The operation, which commenced on the night of May 23, was called off at 4 am today (May 24) following difficulties encountered on-site.
According to KWB, the repair works will be rescheduled, with a new date to be announced once confirmed.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding,” the utility board said in a brief statement.
