KUCHING: The Public Works Department (PWD) Samarahan Division is temporarily closing one lane due to road surface repair and upgrading works at the roundabouts leading to Sarawak Heart Centre and Kota Samarahan Industrial Training Institute (ILP).
PWD Samarahan Division in a statement today announced that the lane closure will last from Nov 1 to 15, from 9 am to 4 pm, 9 pm to 4 am daily.
During this period, drivers are advised to exercise caution on the road and follow all traffic management measures for their safety.
Changes regarding the date, time and area involved with these works will be updated accordingly.
Road users are also advised to plan their journey in the affected areas, with adherence to maximum speed limit throughout this construction area at 30km/h.
