LIMBANG: The ‘Sarawakku Sayang’ Programme (SKS) 2026 kicked off its first roadshow in Limbang on Friday (April 10) and will run until Sunday (April 12) at the Limbang Sports Complex.
A variety of engaging activities will take place over the three-day programme, including the Sarawak Cultural Night, Dapur Limbang and sales booths, main exhibitions, service counters, and e-contest participation, among others, to be held throughout the complex grounds.
In addition, six key components related to government services are featured, namely education and human capital development, service counters, digital and innovation, social and welfare, health and workforce, as well as entrepreneurship.
The programme’s main focus is to enhance the delivery of government policies, initiatives and services directly to the people across the state.
It also aims to strengthen ties between the government and local communities, while fostering a spirit of togetherness, unity and love for Sarawak.
Limbang was selected as the first location in a series of roadshows covering 12 divisions across Sarawak, scheduled to take place from April to November.

This will be followed by Miri, Bintulu, Kapit, Sibu, Sarikei, Mukah, Betong, Sri Aman, Serian, Samarahan, and finally Kuching.
SKS 2026 is one of the state government’s key initiatives to engage with and better understand the needs of the people through on-the-ground activities, bringing a wide range of essential government services directly to them.
At the same time, it provides a one-stop centre platform for the government, government-linked companies (GLCs), non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and the private sector to offer various services and products.
The programme also features advisory services and side activities such as talks, entrepreneurship programmes, sports and recreation, arts and culture, as well as entertainment.
It further seeks to strengthen public confidence in the government’s efforts to drive development, enhance socio-economic growth, and improve the people’s standard of living.
At the same time, it aims to foster closer collaboration between the people and the government while maintaining unity, well-being, and harmony across the state.
