KUCHING: RB Vibrance TYPTI Club, in collaboration with PIKABOL MALAYSIA, officially introduced TYPTI, an emerging racket sport that combines fun, inclusivity, and active community engagement.

In a statement issued today (June 19), the launch marked a historic milestone with the successful staging of Malaysia’s first-ever TYPTI Rally featuring the Stake Scoring System, held at PIKABOL MALAYSIA on June 17 at 10:00 am.

According to Dr Awangku Abdul Rahman, founder of RB Vibrance TYPTI Club and the pioneer of TYPTI in Sarawak and Borneo, the sport was developed to encourage healthy lifestyles, social interaction, and greater community participation through an accessible and enjoyable sporting experience.

“As part of the sport’s continued development, the first TYPTI Social Play Session through RECLUB is scheduled to commence on July, 1 2026 at PIKABOL MALAYSIA, providing an opportunity for the public to experience the sport firsthand,” the statement read.

Managing Director of PIKABOL MALAYSIA, Oscar Choo, said the introduction of TYPTI reflects PIKABOL MALAYSIA’s commitment to expanding sporting opportunities and introducing innovative recreational activities to the community.

“To celebrate the launch, PIKABOL MALAYSIA is offering a special TYPTI Trial Package that includes racket and ball rental, court access, and introductory guiding sessions, providing an easy and enjoyable way for newcomers to discover the sport.

“Members of the public are invited to discover this exciting new sport, become among Malaysia’s pioneer TYPTI players, and be part of a new chapter in the country’s sporting landscape,” the statement added.
