KUCHING: Miri Malay Welfare Trust Board (LAKMM) introduced its newly appointed board of trustees for the 2025-2028 term to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during a courtesy call here today.
The delegation also briefed Abang Johari on the organisation’s latest developments and future plans aimed at benefitting the Muslim community in Miri.
During the meeting, LAKMM outlined the role of its new leadership in strengthening welfare, education and socio-economic development initiatives, while sharing plans to improve programme delivery through a more structured approach.
Also present were LAKMM Chairman, Datuk Abdillah Abdul Rahim, and Deputy Chairman, Datuk Chee Kadir, who is also Kabong assemblyman.
