SIMANGGANG: Relief swept through the community after a 12-year-old boy who had been missing for nearly five days, was found safe near Kampung Muhibbah early this morning (May 3).

Law Ching Sing was discovered following a coordinated search operation by authorities, with villagers also joining efforts to track him down.

Datuk Ajibah Abol Children’s Home in Sri Aman (RKKDAASA) said the boy was found unharmed despite having been missing for several days.

“He was found safe at around 1.30 am and did not suffer any injuries.

“The boy has since been handed over to the relevant authorities for further action,” they said.

Earlier this week, police received a missing person report, with initial information indicating the boy had run away from SK Sri Aman.

RKKDAASA also expressed appreciation to members of the public and rescue agencies who assisted in the search efforts, which ultimately led to the boy’s discovery.
