The victim was identified as Roy Martin Lebat, 21, from Rh Nanyi Gran C Stumbin.

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the victim’s body was discovered around 10.55am by the department’s diving team.

His body was retrieved from a culvert and it was handed over to the police to be taken to the hospital for post-mortem procedures.

Yesterday, Roy left his house on a motorcycle at around 8am to install a fish trap at the drainage channel at Sungai Gran Bukit Munggu.
