KUCHING: A modified lorry carrying an estimated 600 to 700 litres of diesel was seized during a joint enforcement operation at two locations here on Sunday (Apr 26).
The operation under Op Tiris 4.0 was carried out by the Road Transport Department (RTD) Sarawak and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Sarawak at Jalan Tun Salahuddin (Toll) and Jalan Kuching–Serian (Mile 8).
The modified lorry, believed to have been altered to transport diesel, was detected and seized by KPDN for further action.
In the same operation, RTD also detained and seized a multi-purpose lorry for offences involving an expired Motor Vehicle Licence (LKM) and lack of insurance coverage.
