SIBURAN: The Sarawak government is planning to establish Siburan Integrated Administrative Centre to improve public service delivery and make it easier for locals to manage official matters.

Transport Deputy Minister cum Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said the centre would bring various government agencies under one roof, enabling the community to settle their affairs more efficiently.

“This facility shows that the government remains attentive to the needs of the people, but development can only succeed through close cooperation between community leaders, residents and the government,” he said.

He stated this during the Annual Prayer Ceremony and Cultural Concert organised by the Oh Ni Toh Temple Supporters Association in Siburan recently.

Dr Jerip added that several public facilities, including a new health clinic and sports amenities, have opened for the public to enhance the wellbeing of the community.

He also underlined the importance of such events as a platform to preserve traditions while strengthening harmony and unity among Siburan’s multiracial society.

“These celebrations not only uphold tradition but also serve as a bridge of unity, bringing together Chinese, Bidayuh, Malay, Iban, and others in a spirit of harmony.

“The growing vibrancy of the event each year reflects positive progress within the Siburan community,” he said.
