A total of 144,911 candidates have been offered spots to pursue their studies, achieving a success rate of 60.9 percent.
In announcing this, the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) said 79,668 candidates have been offered placements in public universities, while 65,243 candidates have been offered placements in polytechnics, community colleges, and public skills training institutions (ILKA) that offer TVET-focused study programmes.
The ministry said candidates who did not receive offers are encouraged to submit appeals through UPUOnline within a period of 10 days starting today until 5pm on July 16.
