KUCHING: The Padungan Merchant Association celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival by distributing mooncakes to business owners in the Padungan area, a gesture aimed at spreading festive cheer while reinforcing community ties.
Deputy chairman Joey Wee said that the association’s mission is to unite merchants in Padungan, giving them a collective voice while addressing business challenges.
“Padungan’s strength lies in unity. As long as we stand together, Padungan will continue to thrive,” she said.
The Association also seeks to promote Padungan as a vibrant commercial hub and organize activities to boost both community engagement and business opportunities.
Looking ahead, the association said it is planning to host more initiatives to tackle business-related challenges and inject new vitality into the community, calling on all merchants to come together in the spirit of unity for growth and prosperity.
