MUKAH: Members of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) St Patrick’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) took time off yesterday to concrete a short road leading to a new school building.

Led by PTA chairman Zaidi Morshidi, about 30 parents and teachers as well as contract workers were involved in the work party.

The half-day job was completed to the delight of many, especially students and teachers who can now use the road comfortably.

The road connects the compound of the old school buildings to the compound of the new three-storey building.

The school which has over 600 students began using the new building for a single session since the 2020 term opened.

Since 1993 the school had both morning and afternoon classes due to lack of classrooms.
