KUCHING: Motorists travelling along Jalan Tun Jugah can expect traffic diversions and delays following the implementation of partial road closures to facilitate construction works for the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS).
In a notice shared on its official social media platforms, Sarawak Metro said sections of Jalan Tun Jugah near the junction to Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho will be partially closed for five months, from Jul 29 until Dec 31.
The road closures are being carried out to facilitate ongoing construction works under the KUTS project.
In a separate notice, Sarawak Metro also announced that a stretch of Jalan Tun Jugah near the Kenyalang flyover will be partially closed for three nights, from Jul 29 until Aug 1.
The works will be carried out nightly from 9pm until 5am the following morning.
Motorists should comply with all traffic management measures, road signages and speed limits while travelling through the affected areas.
