KUCHING: Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) has denied any involvement in an alleged attempted disclosure of information linked to an ongoing legal matter.
In a statement issued on Friday (June 26), the company said it was not privy to the alleged attempted disclosure and urged members of the public and the media to exercise due care by refraining from publishing or disseminating defamatory statements or imputations concerning PETROS or its officers arising from the case.
PETROS also stressed that it respects the legal process and will not interfere with the court proceedings.
The company added that it will take all necessary steps to safeguard its employees and protect its interests while the matter is being dealt with through the appropriate legal channels.
