PKS lecturers, students hold CSR programme at SK Tanjong Bako

KUCHING: Twenty-two lecturers and 20 students from Politeknik Kuching Sarawak (PKS) took part in a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, held in collaboration with Virtual Space Centre (VSC).

With its themes “eDu-Tech iCare” and “TVET and Community Service with 3R Concept”, the participants were from the Information Technology and Communication Department, Petrochemical Engineering Department (JKPK) and SK Tanjong Bako Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).

The CSR programme on Thursday (July 7) was to upgrade the school’s library facilities. Besides that, other activities such as computer and laptop repair workshop were held.

The programme was also to cultivate volunteerism among PKS staff and students while promoting PKS as a TVET education centre of choice among the students and local community.
