KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today received a farewell courtesy call from Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak’s General Manager, Datuk Abang Mohd Shibli Abang Mohd Nailie.
The courtesy call was held at the Premier’s office at the Satria Pertiwi Complex here.
The visit marked Abang Shibli’s retirement after 28 years of service with Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak since joining the organisation in December 1998.
During the meeting, Abang Johari expressed his appreciation for Abang Shibli’s service, commitment and leadership throughout his tenure.
The Premier also acknowledged Abang Shibli’s contributions to strengthening the role of Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, describing his dedication to the institution as invaluable.
Abang Shibli officially retired on June 9.
Throughout his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening and advancing Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak through various initiatives and programmes that benefited communities across the state, particularly those in need.
