SIBURAN: A total of 15 mission schools in the Tarat constituency have received an allocation amounting to RM1.81 million under the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) Funding Assistance for Mission Schools 2025.

Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister, Datuk Seri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, was present to hand over the aid to the school representatives.

Sagah, who is also Tarat assemblyman, said this forms part of the state government’s ongoing efforts through the Mission Authority to assist mission schools in carrying out upgrading works, maintaining facilities, and purchasing educational equipment to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

“This allocation must be used for the purposes stated in the application letter.

“I urge the school management board to prepare expenditure reports and submit them to me so that they can be forwarded to UNIFOR,” he said during the aid presentation at Tarat Service Centre recently.

He stressed the importance of transparency and financial discipline in managing the allocated funds.

Sagah added that recipients must furnish clear reports on how the allocation is spent to avoid any issues that could invite action from the authorities.
