KOTA SAMARAHAN: A total of RM600,000 under the Special Parliamentary Allocation Grant has been distributed to 63 organisations within the Kota Samarahan parliamentary constituency.

The recipients included clubs, associations, and Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs).

Federal Rural and Regional Development Deputy Minister, Datuk Rubiah Wang, said the grant, which marked the first phase of disbursements for the year, aims to support the implementation of various activities and programmes that encourage community participation and grassroots development.

“We hope this allocation will provide the necessary support and convenience for each organisation to carry out their respective programmes effectively.

“Use the funds allocated by the government wisely, for the betterment and future of your associations, and ultimately, to benefit the people,” she said.

Rubiah, who is also the Kota Samarahan Member of Parliament, made the remarks when officiating at the Special Parliamentary Grant Handover Ceremony for Kota Samarahan parliamentary constituency held at the Kota Samarahan Civic Centre on Saturday.
