SERIAN: There will be a temporary road closure at the junction of Taman Duranda Emas and the junction leading to UNACO Duranda from 10pm on Jun 5 until 4am on Jun 6 to facilitate pipe leak detection works.
According to a public notice issued by the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) today, the closure is necessary to enable a contractor appointed by the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) to carry out leak detection works in the area.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution, comply with all traffic management and safety signages and plan their journeys in advance to avoid possible traffic congestion.
The temporary closure is necessary to ensure the smooth implementation of the works and the safety of road users as well as personnel at the site.
For enquiries related to traffic flow, the public may contact the Serian Division JKR office at 082-876670 during office hours.
Meanwhile, enquiries on the water supply works may be directed to the JBALB Kuching office at 082-332936 during office hours.
