SIBU: Road users here are advised to take note of upcoming road upgrading works along Jalan Wong Soon Kai at the Deshon Junction, which are scheduled to begin on June 5 and continue until Oct 4.
According to a notice issued by the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC), the project falls under Package 2 of road upgrading works in housing, commercial and industrial areas within the council’s jurisdiction.
“SMC apologises for any inconvenience caused and advises motorists to exercise caution and adhere to temporary traffic management measures throughout the construction period,” said the statement today.
Members of the public are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and stay updated with further announcements from the council.
