KUCHING: The Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS) recently held a series of internal programmes aimed at strengthening teamwork, improving communication, and enhancing the organisation’s ability to support children with cancer and their families.
Over the weekend, SCCS staff participated in a training session focused on self-awareness and understanding team dynamics, with the objective of fostering stronger collaboration and more effective engagement within the organisation.
The following day, SCCS committee members and key management convened for the final committee meeting of the year, during which discussions included planning and deliberations on the organisation’s 2026 budget.
The meeting was followed by the society’s annual staff lunch, which brought together committee members and staff in an informal setting to strengthen bonds, show appreciation, and mark the festive season with a Christmas gift exchange.
SCCS said prioritising opportunities for learning, planning and togetherness is essential in ensuring the organisation continues to serve children and families with care, responsibility and compassion.
