KUCHING: Sarawak recorded 10 new Person Under Investigation (PUI) cases for Covid-19 as of 10.30am yesterday.
The State Disaster Management Committee in a statement said with these cases, Sarawak has a cumulative total of 158 PUI cases since Jan 10.
Of the total cases, 136 had tested negative, while 22 are still awaiting laboratory test results.
Fifteen patients had been admitted to Sarawak General Hospital, six in Bintulu and one in Sibu Hospital. Among them are two Vietnamese and a Pakistani student.
The Health Department has screened 15,590 persons who entered the state through its airports, land and sea entry points.
So far Sarawak remains clear of Covid-19 since its outbreak in Wuhan, China.
