KUCHING: Sarawak Federal Secretary (SUP), Datuk Mohd Shahabuddin Omar on Wednesday officiated at the ‘Signing Off’ ceremony as a symbolic gimmick before he retires from the civil service on April 3.
The ceremony was held at Level 17 of the Sarawak Federal Secretary’s Office, Sultan Iskandar Building.
Shahabuddin had previously served in the state for 12 years before working in Malaya which then in 2019 he returned to work in the state as the SUP until today.
During the event, Shahabuddin also launched the ‘Buku Jendela 2020’ which displays a snippet of federal department activities in Sarawak.
Also present were State Information Director Swady Guliling and heads of federal departments at the Sultan Iskandar Building.
