SIBU: Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Kiang Hin’s celebrated its annual prize-giving and closing ceremony for the year held at its multi-purpose hall here recently.
The School Board of Management Chairman, Kapitan So Teck Kee who officiated at the event urged students to cultivate a positive worldview, learn with an open mind, and grow into individuals with broad perspectives, strong character, and a spirit of responsibility for the future.
“Graduation is not an end, but the beginning of a new and broader chapter. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I extend my warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to all graduating students who have successfully completed their academic year,” he said.
Kapitan So stated that the School Board of Directors has been committed to promoting ‘Smart Education’, working hand in hand with the school to build a professional, dedicated, and united education team.
“From school facilities, academic performance, character development to soft skills, we strive to provide the best environment for every child to learn, grow, and flourish,” he stressed.
Expressing his sincere gratitude to the headmaster and all teachers for their dedication, patience, and guidance, he also extended his appreciation to the parents for their trust and cooperation, enabling the school to build a strong foundation for the children.
“Dear students, you are now in the most beautiful phase of life. Student life is the golden period where dreams take root, character is shaped, and abilities are developed.
“You may not fully understand this now, but as you grow older, you will realise how knowledge, friendships, and values you acquire today will deeply influence your future,” he said.
He also reminded students to be curious and keep learning as the world is constantly changing.
“May all students continue to progress and SJKC Kiang Hin continue to thrive and nurture more outstanding young talents for our society,” Kapitan So added.
