MIRI: Two riders deliberately slammed into another motorcycle and robbed their prey early Friday morning.
The 24-year-old male victim was thrown off his bike and sustained injuries to his legs.
According to sources, the duo came from behind and purposely crashed their motorcycle into their target in front.
The alleged incident at Taman Tunku traffic light intersection occurred at 3am.
The same sources added as the victim lay on the road, one of the suspects came and pointed a sharp object, believed to be a knife, and demanded to be given money.
The victim who was in pain, handed over his sling bag, which contained RM1,500.
A police report was lodged that same morning.
