BAU: The Pipig Pisoh Bisingai Association (Persatuan Kebajikan Masyarakat Singai) celebrated academic excellence within the Bisingai community by presenting cash incentive awards to 49 outstanding students during a ceremony held at the Gawai REDEEMS Carnival.

The recipients, who excelled in their 2024 SPM, SPVM, and STPM examinations, were recognised at the REDEEMS Centre in Kampung Apar, Singai, before thousands of visitors and carnival-goers.

Deputy Minister for Transport (River and Sea), Datuk Henry Harry Jinep, officiated at the ceremony and presented the awards to the students.

According to a media statement, the association reaffirmed its dedication to education by donating RM10,000 to SMK Singai during the REDEEMS Townhall on March 23.

The funds were designated for the purchase of essential computer equipment for the school.

The association’s leadership expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members and donors who made the awards possible through their generous contributions.

The committee also encouraged more Bisingai people to support the association’s efforts — whether by becoming members or offering financial assistance — to ensure the sustainability of its initiatives.

Reinforcing its commitment to the community, the association continues to uphold its guiding principle: “Bisingai Trukum Totap Mujur – By the Bisingai and for the Bisingai”.
