KUCHING: Jacqueline David, an esteemed and award-winning journalist from Sarawak, has taken on the role of Communications director at Citrine One Borneo, a communication and marketing consultancy firm based in Sarawak.
 
Citrine Group Communications director Hazel Jasni highlighted that Jacqueline’s appointment is a testament to the company’s commitment to empowering local organisations in East Malaysia.
 
“Her appointment resounds as a powerful testament to Citrine One Borneo’s dedication to shaping a revolutionary future for communication in the region with her media perspective,” she said in a statement yesterday.

With her career spanning over three decades, Jacqueline boasts numerous prestigious accolades, including multiple Kenyalang Journalism Awards and the United States Agency for Global Media award.
 
Citrine One Borneo, a subsidiary of Citrine Group, made its debut in January 2023 by hosting an innovative panel session titled ‘Maximising Media Relations Through a Media Perspective.’
 
The event, held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), underscored the importance of media relations and crisis communications management in establishing authentic and credible brands.
 
In May 2023, Citrine One Borneo solidified a significant partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) to elevate the media and communication landscape of East Malaysia.
 
The MOU was witnessed by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs and Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol.
