KUCHING: Media practitioners play a crucial role as intermediaries in delivering accurate and timely information to the community.

In stating this said Tabung Haji (TH) Sarawak regional director Datuk Nurlaila Said, expressed deep appreciation for the contribution of media practitioners in the state.

Ans she stressed the importance of maintaining strong collaborative ties between the two parties.

“The organisation of this programme, the Media Engagement TH Sarawak, is a way to honour media practitioners and strategic partners who have significantly contributed to disseminating information related to Hajj matters, especially in Sarawak.

“Our hope is that this ‘ukhuwah’ (brotherhood) will endure, and with the continued cooperation between Tabung Haji and the media, we are confident it will create the best narrative for the Muslim community,” she said.

Nurlaila was speaking at the TH Sarawak Media Engagement Dinner 2024 here on Saturday (Nov 9).
