SERIAN: Three sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash at the Sungai Batu Bridge, Kampung Tapah in Siburan here today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) deployed a team from the Siburan fire station after receiving an emergency call at 4.16 am.
“The driver was trapped in his seat while the two passengers sustained minor injuries,” said the statement.
Rescuers worked to extricate the trapped driver, who was later brought to Serian Hospital.
However, the extent of the driver’s injury was unknown.
Meanwhile, the two injured passengers were handed over to paramedics for further medical attention.
After completing clean-up operations at the scene, the rescue team returned to their station.
