KUCHING: Two men were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a four-wheel drive, a Perodua Myvi and a Perodua Kancil at Politeknik Kuching along Jalan Matang today (Apr 10).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the injured victims, both aged 20, were the driver and front passenger of the Myvi.
“The passenger, identified as Aelius Ivan Blucewalker, and the driver, Colin Nyang, sustained injuries in the incident.
“The other drivers — Avner Travis Wilfred Busa, 20, who was driving the four-wheel drive, and Liew Shan Hoong, 21, who was driving the Kancil — were unhurt,” Bomba spokesperson said.
Firefighters assisted in removing the injured victims from the vehicle before handing them over to Health Ministry personnel for further treatment.
They also carried out clean-up works at the scene to clear oil spillage and ensure the area was safe.
