KUCHING: Two men and a woman were arrested for possession of drugs and drug consumption in a house at Kpg Pengkalan, Bau at 10.25pm on Sunday. Bau police chief, DSP Poge ak Nyaon said the 37-year-old man from Kampung Pangkalan, 17year-old man from BDC Stampikn Park and 37-year-old woman from Kampung Melayu, Bau were all caught in a house in Kpg Melayu, Bau. There, they found the two men with a cigarette box containing a plastic packet with crystal chunks of syabu weighing 0.30g.
The woman was later found hidden in the house. All three tested positive for syabu. The men were arrested for possession and consumption of drugs while the woman was arrested for consumption of syabu. Saying the drug raids would continue, Poge appealed for more information from members of the public. He said initial investigation revealed that the trio did not have previous records.
