BAU: Police arrested two local men for allegedly involved in drug abuse activities on Saturday night (Sept 19 ).
Bau district police chief Supt Mohd Haide A Rahman said a team from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) arrested both suspects, age 28 to 38, at 11.40 pm.
“The team apprehended both men suspected to be involved in drug abuse activities yesterday night (Sat) on a roadside of Jalan Bau-Serikin.
“They also tested positive for drug through urine screening tests. Both men were then taken in for questioning,” he said.
The case is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
