KUCHING: The ‘Majlis Ramah Mesra Kasih’ organised by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development was filled with lively energy as people from all walks of life gathered at Wisma SABATI today.

The gathering was held not only in conjunction with the Hari Raya celebration but also aimed to bring together underprivileged and targeted communities for a feast.

Communities represented included those with special needs, persons with disabilities (OKU), senior citizens, children and others who were invited to the event.

The festive occasion was hosted by Federal Women, Family and Community Development Minister, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

He took the time to greet people at the vendor booths and observed how food was being prepared for the guests.

Later, Wan Junaidi together with Nancy and ministry staff took a group photo before heading into the hall to dine with guests and VIPs.

A mini theatre and live music performances kept guests entertained as they enjoyed their meal.

Before leaving the venue, Wan Junaidi took time to mingle with guests as he made his way out of the hall.

Some guests even took the opportunity to take selfies with him to commemorate the special moment.

The Head of State departed the venue at around 12.00 pm, while the event continued.
