MUKAH: The Mukah Community Hall upgrade project, began on January 12 last year, is expected to be completed by March 5, 2026.
Tellian assemblyman, Royston Valentine said the project is progressing according to schedule.
“This follows several amendments to the project scope made by the Public Works Department (PWD), which serves as the responsible technical agency.
“Although the latest projected completion date is in the first quarter of 2026, the Mukah Community Hall Management Board hopes the upgrade can be completed by the end of this year,” Royston shared in a Facebook post today (Feb 19).
As a member of the Mukah Community Hall Management Board for the 2024-2026 term, Royston also expressed hope that the upgraded facility would meet the growing demands and needs of the local community.
Earlier on, Royston attended the first meeting of the Mukah Community Hall Management Board for the 2024-2026 term, chaired by Minister of Women, Childhood, and Community Well-being Development, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah.
Following the meeting, Fatimah, who is also the chairperson of the Mukah Community Hall Management Board, joined Royston and others to visit the project’s site.
