MIRI: A huge tree that uprooted early on Wednesday morning blocked traffic flow between Jalan Hills and Jalan Tanjong.
Subsequently the road stretch was closed and a diversion was arranged for motorists while a team of firemen from Miri Fire Station cleared the obstruction.
They arrived around 7.45am to help remove the tree.
It was believed that the tree had fallen down early Wednesday morning (June 17) due to strong winds.
Fortunately, no injury was reported in the incident.
