ACTRESS Zara Zya has revealed that she is particularly attracted to men who possess practical technical skills and are not afraid of hard work.
Zara, whose full name is Zainurul Razia Mohd Zainuddin, said men who were capable of handling tasks such as carpentry, electrical wiring and other physically demanding jobs had a unique appeal.
“Let’s keep this between us. I like men who are good with their hands, can do carpentry work, electrical wiring and other heavy-duty tasks,” she shared in a post on Threads.
The 41-year-old actress also believes such abilities reflect a man’s masculinity, adding that being able to cook and consistently recite the Quran are qualities she finds especially admirable.
“To me, these are masculine traits. It’s a bonus if he can cook and recite the Quran well,” she wrote.
Her post quickly attracted positive responses from followers, many of whom agreed with her views.
Some users even responded with humour, joking that they fit the description of the type of man Zara was looking for because they possessed practical skills and enjoyed cooking.
One netizen quipped: “Sorry, I’ve been a bit busy today.
Earlier I was repairing an aeroplane wing, then I did some electrical wiring.
I’ve only just arrived home. Right, I’m off to the kitchen now.”
One posted a photo of his ‘gulai lemak’ in the comments section to show off his cooking, writing, “Such a coincidence!”, prompting Zara to reply, “Is it spicy?”
