SIBU: Parents are urged not to misuse the education aid provided by the government for their children.
Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technological Research Dr Annuar Rapaee said the assistance from the government must benefit the students.
He was speaking at a presentation of Yayasan Sarawak school uniform vouchers at the Resident Office here on Wednesday.
Dr Annuar advised vendors supplying school uniforms under the programme not to overcharge and to ensure that the uniforms were of quality.
“It is better for parents to first check the uniforms to ensure they are worth the value of the vouchers,” he said.
