BEKENU: A python was spotted under an oven of a home at Kampung Padang, Kelulit here on Sunday (Aug 16).
According to a spokesperson of the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a distress call on the discovery was received at 4.29pm.
Following the call, Team Charlie of Batu Niah Fire and Rescue Station was deployed to the scene.
Upon the team’s arrival, the python was found under the complainant’s oven and it was eventually caught and released to its habitat.
