KUCHING: Sarawak recorded 13 new Covid-19 cases on Friday (Jan 14).
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the 13 cases were Category 1 and 2, and the patients displayed mild symptoms or none at all.
Sarawak’s total number of cases now stands at 252,581.
Miri and Sibu both topped Friday’s numbers with four cases each, followed by two in Bintulu.
Meanwhile, Limbang, Meradong and Beluru all recorded one case each.
Four compounds were issued in Kuching for failure to scan the MySejahtera QR Code upon entering premises and for not wearing a face mask.
No new cluster and fatality were recorded on Friday.
