KUCHING: The Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society will host the 15th Childhood Cancer International (CCI) Asia conference here from May 20 to 21.
Themed ‘Bridging the Gaps, Better Care and More Cures’, Sarawak is hosting the conference for the first time. It will be held at The Waterfront Hotel.
The conference is expected to gather advocates of the childhood cancer cause, various support groups, medical teams, childhood cancer survivors and their families.
“This is part of our initiatives as a member of the CCI in amplifying childhood cancer awareness in Sarawak while advancing the goal of the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer to increase the survival rate of children with cancer globally to at least 60 per cent by 2030,” SCCS said in a social media posting.
The society is inviting participants to register at https://cciasiaconference2023.com/.
