BINTULU: A dazzling light lit up the sky over Dalat on Saturday night, leaving many wondering if it was a shooting star or a comet.
METSarawak director Khairul Najib, said that his team has not yet been able to identify the object.
For more precise information, he suggested that relevant parties get in touch with the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA).
A video of the event quickly went viral on Saturday night, showing a bright ball of light followed by a burst of stars moving across the Dalat sky from south to north.
The video was uploaded at 7.41 pm by Dalat District Police Chief DSP Saga Chunggat, who was attending a briefing on the Dalat Decorated Boat programme.
