BAU: Two brothers narrowly escaped a harrowing car crash with injuries along Jalan Bidi-Krokong yesterday (Sept 13).
The 4.20 pm accident occurred when their vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the fence near a coffee shop.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Bau station were despatched to the scene, located about 5 km away.
Members of the public managed to extricate the brothers, aged 24 and 16, from their vehicle.
When the team arrived, they immediately administered initial treatment and secured cervical collars on both victims.
The injured siblings were taken to Bau Hospital for further treatment.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
